Highlight: Astellas Pharma’s Marketing Analytics Data Lake


Astellas Pharmaceutical is using the Podium data lake management platform to deliver data to a team of 80+ data scientists and analysts in Astellas’ US marketing organization. Using Podium as the platform to deliver data to his marketing analytics experts, executive team leader Chad Dau has been able to reduce from 6 months to 3 days the time required to deliver new data to data analysts. Users can also load their own data into the data lake without IT support, giving the analytics team the ability to meet their own data needs on an agile, self-service, on-demand basis. Overall the added efficiency of Astellas’ new data lake has allowed Chad and his team to deliver 30x more analytic insights and projects to the business, using the same team at a dramatically lower cost.
