Barbara Petrocelli

Director of Product Marketing

Barbara has been helping data management software companies implement marketing programs for more than 20 years.

Early in her career Ms. Petrocelli helped launch Ascential Software’s DataStage product and grow revenue on the company’s portfolio of data integration products to $272MM before the company was purchased by IBM for $1.1B in 2005. Barbara went on to lead field marketing for ProfitLogic and Oracle Software’s retail division before joining Netezza Software in 2008. At Netezza Barbara drove retail vertical marketing and helped grow revenue to $190.6M before the company was acquired by IBM for $1.7B in 2010. Immediately prior to joining Podium Data, a Qlik company, Ms. Petrocelli led marketing for Market6, a start up that provides supply chain collaboration software for grocers and their suppliers. There she helped double revenue in two years and earn the company a spot in Fortune Magazine’s list of the Top 500 fastest growing privately held companies two years in a row.

Barbara holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an MBA in international business from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
